- John Thomas Luby died Oct. 26 [1988] at Evanston Hospital. He was 62. Mr. Luby was born in Chicago. He was married to Sally Marie Luby. He was the founder and president of the Luby Insurance Agency of Kenilworth. In addition to his wife, Mr. Luby is survived by a son, John C. of Scarsdale, N.Y.; his daughters, Sara C. Luby of New Rochelle, N.Y., Alice L. Bedell of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Brady Marie Luby, Mara King Luby, Bridget Ann Luby and Kerry Edana Luby, all of Wilmette; four grandchildren; his brothers, F. Charles Luby of Akron, Ohio and Joseph K. Luby of Evanston; and his sister, Margaret J. Luby of Chicago. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
