Winifred M. de la Forest-Divonne McConville, 85, died March 5 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, West Palm Beach, Fla. Mrs. McConville was born in France and previously lived in Wilmette and, for 27 years, in Kenilworth. Mrs. McConville, one of 10 children born to the late Count and Countess Francois de la Forest-Divonne, spent her early years in France at the family home, Chateau de Trois Moulins near Melun before emigrating with her family to Saint Paul, Minn., in 1919. In 1933 she married Edwin B. McConville, who preceded her in death. Survivors include four sons, Edwin B. McConville Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va.; Michael C. McConville of Barrington, David B. McConville of Chicago, and Thomas F. McConville, Lafayette, Ind.; three daughters, Mary M. Joyce of Winnetka, Ann M. Walsh of Wilmette and Constance M. Pierce of Tiburon, Calif.; two sisters, Paula Kofski of Saint Paul and Teresa Nolde of Brainerd, Minn.; one brother, Joseph de la Forest of Phoenix; 25 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, John J. McConville and Constantine Joseph McConville.
