- Doris Glidden Needler, 83, died Oct. 14 in Oak Crest Retirement Center, DeKalb. Mrs. Needler, whose husband, Lowell, died in July, 1981, is survived by a son, William of Wilmette; three daughters, Mary Ellen Dunlop of Purcellville, Va., Carole Lea Burgess of Storrs, Conn., and Linda Howard of New York City, and 12 grandchildren. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
