- John J. O'Malley Jr., 87, of Wilmette died February 21, 2001 in Hospice of the North Shore, Skokie. Born July 20, 1913 in Chicago. Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jane (née Burns) O'Malley. Survivors include three daughters, Monica Ann Thady, Maureen Muench and Eileen Sullivan; three sons, John III, Terrence and Kevin O'Malley; two sisters, Mary Glascott and Anne O'Malley; and 14 grandchildren
