- The Hon. William J. O'Brien, 85, died February 8 at his Wilmette home. Judge O'Brien was preceded in death by his wife, Adele Beven O'Brien. Survivors include two sons and four daughters, Adele (Eugene) Bensinger of Highland Park, Mary Louise (Dennis) Kinsella of Glenview, Charlotte Cathleen (Michael) Leonard of Winnetka, William (Judith) O'Brien of Glenview, Joan (Thomas) O'Brien of Chicago and Kevin O'Brien of Seattle; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister, Robert O'Brien and Louise Voglewede. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
