Funeral services for Violet Schaeffer Pose will be held Friday at the Church of the Holy Comforter, 222 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth. Mrs. Pose died Oct. 14 [1994] in La Jolla, Calif., 50 days before her 103rd b irthday. The youngest of five children, Mrs. Pose was born 1891 in Evanston. Married at age 23 to Charles Jay Pose. Survivors include three grandchildren, former Northfield residents Holly Pose Voit of San Diego, Richard Jay Voit of Wilmette, and Steven Max Voit of Seattle and son-in-law, Richard L. Voil [sic] of Grand Rapids, Mich. [Michigan] She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jay Pose; her daughter, Betty Jane; two brothers, Howard Schaeffer of Kenilworth and Philip "P.A." Schaeffer of Seattle; and two sisters, Elizabeth McNulty of Wilmette and Mary Ida Schaeffer of Evanston. The Rev. William Lupfer will officiate at the funeral. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum, Skokie.
