- Dove Johnston Schluter, 84, died Oct. 31 at her home in Glencoe. Born in Farmington, Iowa. She is survived by her husband, Harvey J. Schluter, whom she married in 1930; two daughters, Pamela Kunkemueller of Dover, Mass., and Deborah Cole of Kent, Ohio; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Sylvia Palmer of Farmington, Iowa, and Dolly Collisson of West Palm Beach, Fla. The funeral was Oct. 23 in Moline, Iowa.
