- William J. Schildgen was buried at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Mr. Schildgen, who was a life-long resident of Northfield, died July 22 at Glenbrook Hospital. He was 70. He was married to Bess Hlavacek Schildgen. Mr. Schildgen is survived by his wife; his son, William B. Schildgen of Northbrook; his granddaughter, Beth Ann Schildgen of Northbrook; four brothers and three sisters.
