- Longtime Wilmette resident Donald E. Specht, 62, died November 27 in Billings Hospital, Chicago. Born in Wilmette. He spent the past six months with his son Paul in Crystal Lake. Mr. Specht's other son, Robert, lives in Deerfield. Survivors also include three sisters; Marge Haysen of Evanston, Carol Buchanan of New Mexico and August Specht of New Jersey; and two brothers, Charles Specht of Mundelein and James Specht of California. Burial was at Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago.
