- Portia Leys Sonnenfeld, 53, died of cancer June 8 [1987] in Princeton, N.J. She was formerly a Wilmette resident, born Chicago. She is survived by her mother, Helen Benson Leys of Urbana; a daughter, Carol Geithner of Washington, D.C.; a son, Mark D. Sonnenfeld of Boulder, Colo.; a sister, Carolyn Moyer; a niece and a nephew.
