- Marianne P. "Skip" Stephan, of Wilmette, died Dec. 12 at Evanston Hospital. She was 56. A native of Evanston, She is survived by her husband, Lewis T. "Ted"; her mother, Elaine Poinier of Wilmette; two children, Leslie Ralph of Australia and Mark Stephan of Northbrook; two grandchldren, Laura Daine and Jennifer Tegen Ralph; and a brother, Edwin W. Poinier of Toledo, Ohio. A memorial service was held Saturday at St. Augustine's Church.
