- Lois (née Miller) Steffens, 85, of Harbour Heights, Florida, formerly of Wilmette, died July 10, 1999. Survivors include her husband, Harold Steffens; a daughter, Sandra Carra of Tinley Park; two sons, Kenneth Steffens of Glenview and Duane Steffens of Crystal Lake; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, Richard Miller of Harbour Heights and Dan Miller of South Carolina; five sisters, Greta Fiegan and Jacqueline Meijer of Wilmette, Hope Miller and Vivian Burke of Harbour Heights, and Dori Coulter of Punta Gorda Isles, Florida Preceded in death by a brother, Norbert Miller of Port Charlotte, Florida in 1998
