- Robert J. Stanley, 69, of 509 Third Street, Wilmette, died February 7 at his home. Born in Tacoma, Washington, he had lived in Glen Ellyn before moving to Wilmette eleven years ago. He is survived by his wife, Agatha C.; three daughters, Mary Ann Burke of Glenview, Susan Martin of Denver, Colorado, and Catherine Krumplitsch of San Francisco; a son, Richard J. of Tanzania, Africa; and 12 grandchildren. A funeral mass was said February 9 by the Rev. Jerome Hartmann of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at the Scott Wilmette Chapel. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Evanston.
