- Mary Ann Walgreen (nee Leslie), of Wilmette, died last Thursday in Nassau, Bahamas, at the age of 74. Born in Chicago, she married Charles R. Walgreen Jr. in 1933. Her husband is the son of the late Charles R. Walgreen Sr., founder of the nationwide drug store chain bearing his name. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Charles R. and James A.; a daughter, Leslie Ann Pratt; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, William J. Leslie. A funeral mass was said Monday at SS. Faith, Hope and Charity, Winnetka.
