- Mildred Van Horne died March 22 in Old Orchard Manor in Skokie. Miss Van Horne taught in the Wilmette public schools for many years. She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Van Horne of Evanston; a sister-in-law, Harriet Van Horne of Glencoe; one nephew; and two nieces.
