- Laura Winston Wilcox, 72, died at her home of cancer on March 2. Mrs. Wilcox was born and brought up in Evanston. Mrs. Wilcox is survived by her husband, Robert B. Wilcox, to whom she was married for 50 years; five children, Robert (Barbara) Byers Jr., Steven (Kathleen) Winston, Katherine Wilcox (Ian) Lambert, David (Melynda) Winston and Brian (Amy) Winston; and by six grandchildren.
