- Richard Harvey Witt, 83, died April 13 [1986] in Evanston Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Etta; and two sons, Richard H. of Mundelein and Ronald L. of Wilmette; a sister, Anna K. Witt of California; 10 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; eight great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Two daughters, LaVerne Witt and Audree Downs, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held April 16 at St. John's. Burial was at St. Paul's Cemetery in Skokie.
