- Mrs. Phoebe Ryerson died March 21, 2003. Born April 3, 1917 in Winnetka. Married to the late George Wickersham Ryerson who died in 1970. Survivors include two daughters, Bunny Ryerson (John) Harrison, and Ann Dorothea Ryerson (Alfred) Avenenti; four sons, John Albert (Marcia) Ryerson, George Wickersham Ryerson Jr., Loren Hamilton (Mary) Ryerson, and Edwin (Ned) Warner Ryerson; also grandchildren Katie (Michael) Stallard, Holly Dahlman, Clayton Dahlman, Andrew (Laura) Ryerson, Susan (Alberto) Espino, Rebecca (Chris) Fahnoe , Monti Avenenti, Stewart (Krista) Avenenti, Loren M. Ryerson, Michael Ryerson, Daniel Ryerson and Christopher Ryerson. Other Aspen family include Charlie and Cecelia Martin, and Patrick, Theresa and Eleanor. Great-grandchildren include Sarah Stallard, Elizabeth Stallard, Daniel and Adam Ryerson, Alex Espino and Lucas Fahnoe. Nephews are John (Sonia) Massey, George B. (Anne) Massey III, Frank (Kathy) Massey and their children: Mike, Lani, Paige, Rob, David, Tommy and Emily.
