- Robert Allan McKirnan, 80, of La Jolla, California, and Borrego Springs, California, formerly of Winnetka and Glenview, died March 29, 2003 in San Diego, California. Born in Oak Park, Illllinois. Survivors include his wife, Alice Hall McNeely McKirnan; three children by his first wife Barbara Wellington McKirnan; Carolanne McKirnan of Boulder, Colorado, Laurene McKirnan of Kenilworth, and David McKirnan of Chicago; seven grandchildren; one sister, Laurene McKirnan, and one brother, James, both of Chicago.
