- Sarah Anne (nee Landis) McAuliffe, 53, a resident of Wilmette, died July 15 in Hospice of the North Shore. Born July 5, 1950 in Falls Church, Virginia. Survivors include her husband, Eugene (Buddy) McAuliffe; a son, Brian of Wilmette; her father, Harold James Landis; a brother, James (Alicia) Landis; and a niece Meagan Landis, all of Falls Church, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Iris Landis.
