- Elizabeth Whiting Colburn, 85, a longtime resident of Winnetka and Northfield, died Monday, Dec. 1 at the Presbyterian Homes in Evanston. Mrs. Colburn was born in Champaign. Her father was Albert Lemuel Whiting. She married Richard D. Colburn. Survivors include her three children; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her sister, Barbara Frison of Englewood, Colo.
Services were private.
