Notes
25 art-enhanced wood benches that were on display throughout Wilmette this summer found new homes after an auction Saturday at the Wilmette Woman's Club, and two of them are headed for public display in the village and Wilmette Public Library after a group of women led an effort to buy and donate them. One of the benches "Sweet Home Wilmette" features watercolor scenes of the village by Gloria Moschel. The other, "Time to Think", was created by Katherine Glattard and Melissa Sloan. Betsy Banks bid on the benches with Claire Goulding, Mimi Dray, Holly Berman and Jan Gargula.
