- "Forest Canopy", a sculpture by Bruce White, stands on a triangle of land bounded by Lake Avenue, Wilmette Avenue and 11th Street. The 1,000 pound sculpture features a ring with a triangular cross section and leaf-shaped cutout patterns in the metal. Almost half the cost of the project was donated by Wilmette resident Helen Rubens in memory of her husband, Richard. Comments by committee member Julie Wolf.
