- Sue Carey Rooney Lindholm, 88, formerly of Wilmette, died Friday, August 15, 2003. Born September 6, 1914, the third of four children, to the late John Daball and Helen Louise Carey Rooney of Charleston, South Carolina. Married William O. "Lindy" Lindholm, and celebrated a 62nd anniversary on May 30, 1995 the day before Lindy died. Survivors include two sons, John David "David" Lindholm and William O. "Bill" Lindholm, Jr.; a daughter, Sue Carey Lindholm; a sister, Helen Rooney Skaer of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, T. Russel (Norma) Rooney of Columbia, South Carolina; and her sister-in-law, Dorothea Marvin Rooney (widow of John Daball Rooney, Jr.). Preceded in death by her husband; and her brother, John Daball Rooney, Jr.
