William Marion Rice Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Marion Rice Sr. of Winnetka, and his bride, the former Miss Susan Kay Luebbers, are living in Evanston after their Sept. 3 [1966] wedding in the Des Plaines First Methodist Church. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Luebbers of Des Plaines. The Rev. R. A. W. Bruehl performed the afternoon ceremony in the Old Orchard Country Club in Mt. Prospect. The bride wore an Empire gown of linen trimmed in Venetian lace. A loop bow held a shoulder-length veil, and her colonial bouquet was of roses and Stephanotis. Matron of honor was Mrs. Susan Dahm Travis of Des Plaines. Best man was Emil Lazar of Skokie. Thomas Rice, the bridegroom's brother, and Charles Sweet of Wilmette, were among the ushers. The newlyweds honeymooned in Bermuda and New York City.
