Funeral services for Joseph A. Spina, 72, of Barrington, were held Nov. 16 at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., Arlington Heights. Born Aug. 12, 1929, he died Nov. 13 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C.
Mr. Spina is survived by his wife, Ginger; six children, Joseph A. Jr. (Georgianna) of Arlington Heights, Mark S. of Round Lake Beach, Eleanor (Paul) Daugerdas of Wilmette, Stephen R. of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., Michael P. (Nancy) of Arlington Heights and Mary Anne (Garry) Grzelak of Deerfield; his mother, Theresa of Bloomingdale; a brother, Anthony (Rosemary) of Long Grove; a sister, Rose Mary Spizzirri of Bloomingdale; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph.
