George R. Bowman, 76, of 2750 Hampton parkway, Evanston, died May 6. Services were held Saturday at the Scott chapel in Evanston.
Mr. Bowman was a resident of Wilmette for 12 years. He was vice president of R. A. Napier and Co. and a member of the Christian Science Church in Wilmette. He was a 32nd degree mason.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jeanette Price Bowman, a daughter, Mrs. Margaret E. Persig, Evanston; and a grandson, George Roland Persig.
