Mrs. Susan Schwall, who resided with her family at 1626 Spencer avenue, was found dead in her room, June 8, from asphyxiation. There was an open gas jet and the case was reported to the coroner. An inquest was held the following day. Coroner Hoffmann conducting it in person, and the verdict of the jury was "suicide while temporarily insane." Mrs. Schwall left her husband, Anton Schwall, and five children. She was 35 years of age, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Borre of Gross Point. She was born in the locality, and was here all her life with the exception of a short time which the family spent in Wisconsin. Funeral services were held Friday Morning, June 11, at 8 o'clock and burial was at St. Joseph's cemetry.
