Hoffmann, Hubert (Died)

Hubert Hoffmann, life-long resident of Wilmette, died early Monday in the house at 204 Ridge Road in which he was born 67 years ago. It was the third death in the immediate family within a year, his wife and a daughter having preceded him. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Hoffmann, who were among the earliest settlers of New Trier township. Mr. Hoffmann had been in the florist business in Wilmette for more than 30 years. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Higgins, with whom he hade his home; by five sons, Hubert, Jr., of 2101 Lake avenue, Arthur of 204 Ridge avenue; Edmund of 2039 Lake avenue; Alexander of Chicago; and James of Harding road, Northfield; by a sister, Mrs. Paul Bleser; and by two brothers, Philip and John. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at St. Joseph's church with burial at St. Joseph's cemetery.
