Harry Lynn, former owner of the Kenilworth store, 419 Richmond road, Kenilworth, died shortly before 2 o'clock Monday morning, July 8, from a self-inflicted gun wound. Mr. Lynn had been failing in health for some time. He was found lying in the driveway at the home of his brother-in-law, Henry Ullrich, 626 Pleasant avenue, Kenilworth, shortly after midnight Sunday night with a double-barrel shotgun beside him and a deep wound below the heart. He died about an hour later at the Evanston hospital. His widow survives him.

Mr. Lynn was born in the Hubbard Woods August 25, 1878. He had been in the grocery business in Kenilworth for the past thirty years and prior to that time was a clerk in the Kenilworth postoffice [sic].
In 1904 Mr. Lynn was married to Clara Grabo of Glencoe and resided in Hubbard Woods for many years. Several years ago he built his home in Kenilworth, where he was living at the time of his death. He had also recently built an attractive two-story building on West Kenilworth avenue which is occupied by stores and offices.

Funeral services were held at Mr. Lynn's late residence, 635 Pleasant avenue, Kenilworth, yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, and burial followed at Memorial Park cemetary [sic].
