Funeral services for Adolph Hartl, 31, of 2121 Schiller street, Wilmette, were held Saturday, September 21, at St. Joseph’s church and burial followed at St. Mary’s cemetery in Techny. Mr. Hartl, who had been a resident of Wilmette for seven years, was killed on September 17 when the stone-laden truck he was driving was struck by a northbound Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul passenger train at a private road crossing two blocks north of Lake avenue in Glenview. Mr. Hartl is survived by his widow, Mrs. Isabel Brown Hartl, of Wilmette; a sister, Mrs. Anna Lundy of Hudson, Wis.; two brothers, John of Milwaukee, and Peter of Hurdsfield, N. D., and his father, John Hartl, also of Hurdsfield, N. D.
