Harrington, Hardy W. (Died)

Hardy W. Harrington, 89, of 929 Central avenue, a resident of Wilmette for sixteen years, died suddenly of heart trouble Friday, April 5, at his home. Mr. Harrington, who was born in Alburg Springs, Vt., in 1840, moved to Wilmette in 1913 shortly after the death of his wife. One of his sons, Giles W. Harrington, and a daughter, Mrs. William Y. Saunders, live here. Mr. Harrington is survived also by another son, Ormus L. Harrington, of Logansport, Ind.

Up to the time of his death Mr. Harrington maintained an interest in national affairs. He was to the very last an ardent baseball fan and interested in other sports.

Masonic funeral services were held in the Wilmette Masonic temple auditorium Monday afternoon, April 8, at 2 o'clock. Burial took place at Rosehill cemetery.
