- A Chicago & Northwestern train seriously injured a Wilmette man, and startled passengers when a smoker car on the train separated itself and rolled part way down the embankment near the Main street station Friday night. The injured man was W. D. Berme, 1630 Elmwood avenue, Wilmette.
