- New Trier and Loyola Academy scored a 1-2 finish at the New Trier Sectional on Saturday. Both teams advanced the full complement of singles and doubles players to the state tennis finals that open today. New Trier players mentioned include Carol Finke, Aimee Tarun, Mari Georgiadis, Emily Barretta, Rebecca Ritchie, Julia Schroeder. Loyola's qualifiers include Nora Hughes, Grace Foley, Meredith Abrahamson, Hannah Post, Jennie Gault, Kristin Marren.
