New president of the Woman's Club of Wilmette is Mrs. R. E. pattison Kline. Description of planned events include the Society of Amateur Dramatics under the direction of Mrs. John Mannerud. Members of the club will study and produce plays during the year under the name of the Woman's Club Players. Chairman of the Art and Literature group is Mrs. Ralph Huff. Mrs. Edward Scheidenhelm is the first discussion leader November 7. Mrs. N. C.Colwell is organizing dancing parties. Mr. Charles Morgan, artist, will present a Christmas Chalk Talk entertainment for children on December 28. Miss Violet Davis will whistle. The Economiy Shop is under the chairmanship of Mrs. Charles Eldridge. The Philanthropy department chair is Mrs. Charles McCue. The Philanthropy card party will be given on November 14, directed by Mrs. Blanche Wanner. Mrs. Fuchs is the Social department chairman. Mrs. M.H. McMillen and her committee redecorated the stage and a cyclorama. A musicale by Charles Wakefield Cadman and Princess Tsiamina is October 10. Mrs. Harvey Bush is chairman of the music department. Mrs. A. J. Coburn is chairman of the Art exhibition group. Current events classes are led by Mr. R.E.P. Kline. Mrs. Maryott gives talks on Opera. Classes on Effective Speaking conducted by Miss Maude Miner. Mrs. H.S. Griswold, 619 Seventh St. is club treasurer.
