- Mrs. Minnie Theresa Cordell, 83 of 923 Greenleaf Avenue, Wilmette, died at her home July 3. Mrs. Cordell, who was born in Sweden, came to the United States in 1893. Dr. Alexander B. Allison officiated at the services and burial was in Rosehill Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Henry; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold Svebilius of grand Haven, Mich., and Mrs. Roger Groff of Wilmette; two sisters, Mrs. Peter Waido of Waupaca, Wis., and Miss Albertine Johnson of Gran Haven; one brother, Karl Nystrom who lives in Sweden; and two grand-daughters, Edythe and Karen Goff of Wilmette.
