- William S. Mason, vice-president of the City National Bank, is planning to donate another playground to the children of Evanston. It will be bounded by Lee and Main Streets and Ashland and Florence Avenues. It will be contingent upon approval by the city of closing the alley in that block. This will be on the same block as Washington School. He already donated Mason Park and Foster Field grounds which cost him at least $60,000.
