- Trials have been run on rabbits at the John Hopkins hospital in Baltimore using an antitoxin that is the hope to end tuberculosis by inoculation. Dr. Louis Hamman and Dr. Charles F. Austrian are the doctors at John Hopkins that have discovered the antitoxin.
