Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 10 -- A million dollars in gold from new placer camps in Lower Yukon and Upper Kuskokwim valleys will arrive tomorrow on the steamship Victoria. She brings 283 passengers from Nome and St. Michael, many of whom are new Alaska millionaires, made so by recent discoveries of placer gold in Aniak, Ruby, Innoko, and gold quartz in the Fairbanks district.
