- Results of the tennis tournament at the Skokie club: Mrs. Ridgeway defeated Mrs. Manchester, 6-0 and 6-1; Miss Gowing won by default from Miss Becker; Miss Isom defeated Miss Collier, 6-4 and 6-0; Miss Willmarth drew a bye. Results in the second round: Mrs. Ridgeway defeated Miss Gowing, 6-1 and 6-1. In the girls' singles: Miss Constance Richardson defeated Miss Ethel Copeland 6-1 and 6-2. Results in the mixed doubles: Mr. Washburn and Miss Richardson defeated Miss Isom and Mr. Clayton 6-3 and 6-4.
