John C. Wilkins and family left last week for Wisconsin, to visit friends. W. A. Kittermaster and family left last week for their summer home at Muskoka, Mich. Fred Smith and family have returned from their summer home in northern Michigan. John King left the latter part of last week for Gull Lake, Mich., to visit Whipple Jacobs. Miss Betty Cutler of Boston, Mass., who has been visiting Miss Catherine Howard, has returned to her home. Mrs. Lewsi Day spent last week at the Blackstone hotel, Chicago as the guest of her sister, Mrs. C. K. G. Billings of New York. The engagement of Miss Gertrude Lenore Zeising to Henry Lane Stout of Chicago has been announced by Mr. and Mrs. August Zeising.
