- England's Queen Mary is upset over disrespect shown towards King George and herself at the King's recent party at Windsor Castle and at the last state ball at Buckingham Palace. It is customary for invitees unable to attend these events to offer reasons. However, possibly because invitations were late, the King and Queen did not receive responses. The scandal has become so great, that it is now in the daily press in England; this is to put an end to the disrespect of customs.
