Mrs. Louis Bruch, 1201 Greenwood avenue, entertained the North End Circle Monday.
There is an all-day meeting of the Cozy Corner circle today at the home of Mrs. Albert P. Fagg, 925 Greenwood avenue.
The Merry Matrons Club met Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Albert Clyde of Glencoe.
The open meeting of the Child and Home department at the Woman's Club, March 25, was exceedingly interesting and instructive. It is to be regretted that more people did not take advantage of this splendid opportunity to learn the possibilities in modern instruction of music for children. Mrs. Gertrud H. Murdough and Mrs. Mildred Buhl were in charge of this meeting and were assisted by a number of hte little "music students" of Wilmette who gave a thorough demonstration of their progress.
The ladies of the fifth division of the Methodist church, held an all-day meeting Friday at the home of Mrs. Earle Smith, 208 Woodbine avenue.
Mrs. O. C. Eastman, 412 Central avenue, will entertain the H. and W. Card Club Tuesday evening, April 7.
The French class met Monday, March 23, at the home of Mrs. John Clarke Baker, 347 Hill Street. Madame Moreau de Beauviere of Chicago has been secured as the new instructor. The next meeting, April 6, will be with Mrs. John Rippel of Oakwood avenue.
The Reading circle met Monday at the home of Mrs. Lyman Drake on Lake Avenue.
The Drama Study class will meet Wednesday April 8 at thehome of Mrs. W. A. Mann on Greenwood avenue. "Monna Vanna" will be read.
The Crescent circle of the Congregational church will hold its April meeting on the 7th at the home of Mrs. J. C. Gapen, 1021 Greenleaf avenue.
The Fourth Division of the Methodist church met at the home of Mrs. H. S. Gemmel, 829 Greenleaf avenue, yesterday afternoon.
Mrs. Charles A. Lundberg, 1538 Columbus avenue, entertained the members of the First Division Monday evening, March 23.
The next meeting of the First division has been changed to Monday, April 6, instead of the regular meeting on the second Monday of the month, and will be at the home of Mrs. William Panushka, 1041 Forest avenue.
The Central Avenue Circle of the Congregational Church meets tomorrow at the home of Mrs. Newey, 436 Lake Ave.
The last meeting of the present board of directors of the Woman's Club was held Tuesday morning at the clubhouse.
The Country Club announced [illegible] party, lilies, Friday, April 3 at 2:30 p.m. and a senior party (dancing) Saturday, April 4, at 8:30.
The Parents' club of the Wilmette Logan School will hold an afternoon meeting in the school Monday, April 6. The meeting will commence at 2 promptly owing to the length of the program. Miss Smedley, the principal of the Noyes Street School in Evanston, will speak, and there will be mock voting in charge of Dr. Montgomery.
Mrs. H. B. Gates entertained the members of her Reading circle Monday afternoon.
The Neighborhood club will meet Tuesday, April 14, at the home of Mrs. Charles N. Roberts, instead of on the usual meeting day, the first Tuesday of the month.
The Parents Club of the Logan school will hold a joint meeting with the Civic Club in the school building, Thursday evening, April 9 at 8. Mr. Myron West will speak on "City Planning."
Mr. C. W. Hilton, 1410 Hill St., who has been very ill at the Alexian hospital for a number of weeks, is improving slowly and his recovery is practically assured.- Featured Link
