- Secretary of State Woods says Illinois is being defrauded out of $50,000 this year by automobile owner who use old license tags. Three investigators are now busy in Chicago pricking up violators of the law relating to chauffeurs. Among the chauffeurs arrested are the drivers for former National Committeeman Roger Sullivan and George E. Brennan. Secretary Woods denied a political bias in spite of the bitter political animosity between himself and Sullivan.
