- Asbury Park, New Jersey. Charges of cruelty to fleas employed by Nat Brahn, a trainer, have been investigated by the Asbury Park S. P. C.A. [Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals]. Mrs. Percy B. Vilcox, secretary of the society, thought their collars might be too tight. A complaint had been made that the flees were prompted to perform by electric shock.
