- Loyola's defending state champion girls team were scheduled to meet Hinsdale Central in the semifinals Wednesday. They hope to reach the state championship match Friday night at Northewestern University's Lakeside Field. Comments by senior Julia Cowan. New Trier girls beat Glenbrook South at the sectional championship May 26 advancing New Trier to the Illinois High School WOmen's Lacrosse Association Final Four. Mentioned were Janie Gion, Erin Roos, Gwen Gummersall;
New Trier Boys team defeated St. Ignatius in the Illinois High School Lacrosse Association state quarter finals on Friday.
