- First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette
Rally Day in the Sunday Schol will be observed Sunday, October 5. Pastor, Dr. Wilson, will preach. The monthly Sunday night meeting for young people will be led by Mr. William B. Wrenn. Miss Corette will give an Organ recital. The midweek service, Wednesday night, will include the presentation of papers on topics such as "Making of the Bible--How the Manuscripts were Made and Preserved," by the pastor, also papers by Mrs. Oliver and Mr. Thomas E. D. Bradley. The Rally Day evening picnic was held Tuesday, and the outdoor games will be played Saturday afternoon, Oct. 11 including tennis, indoor baseball on the lawn and races. Mr. H. S. Henschen, cashier of the State Bank of Chicago, will address the men of the congregation Friday night. Mr. Albert Haldermann will sing.
Wilmette Baptist Church
Service Sunday will be held at the Woman's Club building. Devotional meeting Wednesday evening, Oct. 8th will be in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bowen, 1215 Elmwood avenue.
