The desire for a little liquid refreshment caused the temporary loss to John Pangles, who lives near Niles Center, of a horse and buggy, which he left in front of the saloon of H. Eglbrecht of that place. When he returned he found his conveyance missing The property was recovered by an Evanston policeman who noticed two men driving south on Davis street at Lake street in a rather hilarious condition. The men were taken into custody and gave their names as William Sullivan, 22 years old, 2038 Aubert Avenue, Chicago, and Charles Gallogher, 16 years old, 4265 Lincoln Avenue, Chicago. Findina a 1913 calendar of the saloonkeeper's in the rig, the police called up H. Englbrecht at Niles Center, and the owner was found.
