- Wm. Vance, Inc. will no longer control the plays put on at the Evanston Theater now under the direction of Mr. C. G. Franklin of the Evanston Amusement Company. Details of the change are lacking but it is understood that Wm. Vance, Inc. was unable to meet pay rolls of actors and had to release the house to the owners. Mrs. Vance, aka Miss Johnstone, and Messrs. Price and Payton, actors, will also sever their connections with the local theater and other players will be put in their places. "Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch" has been billed for this week and will be played in accordance with advertised schedule.
