- George M. Mencke died Saturday [20 March 1971] in St. Francis Hospital at the age of 82. Mr. Mencke, 1515 Greenwood Av., is survived by a daughter, Margaret, of the Wilmette address; two sons, George, of Chicago, and Lawrence of Barrington: five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Burial was at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
